About Me

I was born in Newfoundland where both my parents were ordained ministers with The Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland.

At age eights years of age, I started to play guitar and sing with my family. At fifteen, I took formal music lessons and played a variety of wind instruments which I still enjoy today!

In the late sixties, I remember hearing a singing group “The Envoys” play at church. It was then that I felt God was calling me into a music ministry. That’s when it all started.

In 1973 while attending Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, I sang with a trio “The Kings Three”. This opened up an opportunity for me to sing fill time.
It was in 1975 that my dream to travel and sing gospel music became a reality. I joined the group “The Blakely Singers” as their lead singer.

My music ministry today is a reflection of those years.

In 1977 a new chapter of my life began as I married my wife, Christine. Christine and I have traveled across Canada and the United States sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through our ministry of song.

Through the years, I have been privileged to sing at a local “Restore The Vision” crusade by Evangelist, Bill Prankard and also was the guest soloist for a Benny Hinn Crusade.

I have sung for youth camps, family camps, conventions, conferences, couple retreats, plus many other organizations. I have also appeared on 100 Huntley Street and “It’s a New Day”.
And my journey continues on, singing praises to the LORD, ministering to others. Check out my CD's. I pray they be a blessing in your life.

Wally White is no stranger to gospel music and to North America as well as the UK. Wally has been around performing and recording and promoting gospel music for over thirty years. This guy has a booming voice and a range that is only outdone by his "big" stage presence. (Wally, I just had to say that) With seven recordings to his credit, Wally is one of those in the forefront of the gospel music genre which is growing rapidly in Newfoundland. Wally has played in rock bands, lived around other parts of Canada, recorded in Oklahoma and has travelled the church music circuit. His brightest moments are when he's performing power anthems like "I bowed on my knees and cried holy," or singing tenor to anything that moves people to worship. Although Wally is one of the members of the board of directors of Gospel Music Celebration Inc., that's not why he's often in our line-up. Wally is un-disputably one of the top gospel music vocalists in the province as well as the Country. Come hear for yourself at the The Martins concert in Grand Falls-Windsor or Corner Brook.
